Evening chill is a grounding movement class to shift things from doing to being. The class is soothing mix of what Anna-Maija’s has studied and taught over the past decade: yoga, fascia work, meditation and breath work.
The classes in February and March are dedicated to the spirit of winter’s end and the nearing spring. A period in time when we still get you create our own warmth – in our bodies, in our practices and in the way we show up for one another. Each session is weaved in seasonal wisdom and includes movement, meditation, breath work and herbal tea.
No previous experience is needed. We have mats but you can always bring your own. Dress comfortably and warmly.
The classes follow safer space principles. The space is accessible. There are no mirrors, and the focus is on how the movement feels, not the looks. Filming is not allowed without permission. Welcome!

Anna-Maija Varis (she/her) is a movement and mindfulness guide, yoga teacher (650+ hrs), thai yoga masseur, gong player, embodiment coach and herbalist in training, with nearly a decade of teaching and learning behind her. She is constantly engaging in new trainings and draws inspiration to her classes from her work in the cultural field: music, art and the surrounding community.
